A lifted WK or XK will clear 33˝ tall rubber, depending on wheel width and offset. The V-8 equipped Jeeps (especially the Hemis) will have no problems pulling this size tire, even without a gear ratio change. For the most part, I'm pretty happy with the lift on my WJ, but it has also cost me at least an additional $2,000ish in follow-on repairs, troubleshooting, and upgrades just to keep it driveable, and I could probably find another $2,000 in lift-related work on it that needs to be done now to really get things dialed in. 4 inch Jeep suspension lift kit for 99-04 Grand Cherokee WJ; Easy bolt-on installation; Increased ground clearance; Levels the front with the rear of the vehicle; Lower control arms provide proper offset to allow for wider tires; Control arms include Clevite brand OEM style rubber bushing
Insert the bar pin into the poly bushing so only about 1/4 inch of the bar is sticking out of one side of the bushing. Use soapy water or WD-40 to lube up the outside of the bushing. Set the bushing into one side of the hole/ring at the bottom of the shock so that the "short" end the bar pin is outside the shock.
