535d Low pressure fuel pump. I have a BMW dealer telling me the low-pressure fuel pump has had a catastrophic failure and discharged metal through ou the fuel system. Notice two minor issues. 1. just after starting the engine there is a noticeable shaking of the engine in the first few seconds after starting. 2. there is a slight hesitation/delay when first tipping in the throttle.
