The London Eye is comparatively new to most of the sights on our London walking tour. It was completed in 2000 and at the time it was the world’s tallest Ferris wheel. The London Eye was built as a tourist attraction and offers incredible views of London and the River Thames.

The name Big Ben actually refers to the largest bell inside the tower, which weighs 13.5 tons and was cast in 1858.
When to come and get your tickets. Every Saturday throughout the year, guided tours are offered at the Houses of Parliament from 9:15 am until 4:30 pm. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, from 9:15 am until 4:30 pm. Tickets are available online or can be purchased at the venue.
